Several methods for successful blowing of PE bottom mold

Jun 14, 2018

(1) Upward blowing method: Upward blowing method is the most widely used. The pe bottom bubble tube is directly above the head, the PE bottom mold tube is blown into a PE film, and is pulled out by a traction roller to pull it out. The PA/PE High Barrier Frozen Food Plastic Packing Laminated Base Film traction stability is stable. Wide range of PE film thickness and wide, and the extruder is installed on the ground, easy to operate. The disadvantage is that the hot air flow around the PE pipe is upwards, while the cold air flows downwards, which is unfavorable for the cooling of the PE pipe. It is not suitable for plastics with low melt viscosity. The material has an increased 90° bend angle at the nose and corners. Flow resistance, and easy to decompose due to stagnation. This method is mostly used for blow molding of polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride plastic films.

(2) Downward blowing method: Downward blowing method is generally associated with the water cooling method. This method of film hauling is vertically downward, and the traction direction is opposite to the upward hot air flow generated by the machine head, which is beneficial to the cooling of the pe bottom mold tube. However, the entire PE bottom mold tube is hung on the upper unshaped plastic section. When the thick film Multi Layer High Barrier PE/PA/EVOH/PA/PE Extruded Film is produced or the pulling speed is faster, the film tube may be broken, and the traction is more difficult for the higher density plastics such as PVC. control. The extruder must be installed on a high operating station and inconvenient to operate. This method is commonly used in PP, PA and other high crystallinity plastics, quenching to reduce the degree of crystallinity and improve transparency.

(3) Flat blowing method: The flat blowing film blank is pulled out in a horizontal direction with the machine head. The auxiliary machine structure is simple and the operation is convenient. However, the cooling of the upper and lower parts of the bubble at the bottom of the PE is not uniform, and the thickness of the film due to sagging of the film itself affects the uniformity of the thickness. Therefore, it is only used for the production of polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and other films with a smaller diameter.

The greatest advantage of Pe bottom mold is that the protected product will not be contaminated, corroded or scratched during production, processing, transportation, storage and use. It will protect the original bright and glossy surface, thus improving product quality and market competitiveness. . In the past, for the problems that occurred during the packaging and transportation of some products, in the past, many of our products often encountered problems during the transportation process. The most common problem was the problem of wear and tear. The resulting economic losses were significant. In traditional packaging, the amount used by our food industry and medical industry is very large. In the past, the use of packaging for environmental pollution was very large. At the same time, the process of production of the PE bottom mold is constantly improving, and the range we use is constantly increasing.
